Porridge Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 bag (400g) The Merry Mill Porridge Oats

  • 1 bag (400g) The Merry Mill Oat Flour

  • 3/4 pt buttermilk

  • 4 tbsp natural yoghurt

  • 1 tsp bicarbonate of soda

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven 230°C / 190°C fan / 350°F / gas mark 5. Line two baking trays with non stick baking paper

  2. Sieve the flour and bicarbonate of soda into a bowl.

  3. Add porridge oats and stir.

  4. Make a well in the middle.

  5. Add the wet ingredients, buttermilk and yoghurt, to the dry and mix.

  6. Bake in the oven for 50 minutes.

  7. Allow to cool and enjoy!
