EU Organic Awards Nomination

We're thrilled to announce that we've been nominated for the prestigious EU Organic Awards! Specifically, we're shortlisted for the best organic food processing small to medium-sized enterprise (SME) category, alongside two other fantastic companies from Slovenia and Germany. This year's awards boast 24 nominees from 11 countries across 8 categories, and we can't wait to attend the ceremony in Brussels on September 25th to see who takes home the prize.

Our journey to this point has been a labor of love. Kevin, our founder, has been an organic farmer for two decades, and has spent the last seven years in food production. In 2015, we began building a micro oat mill on our organic farm, and we're thrilled to see how far it's come. We're passionate about the environment and ecology, and we've made it our mission to prioritize biodiversity, organic farming practices, and self-sufficiency. Our farm and mill operate in a closed system that minimizes waste, and we make sure to use our by-products at every stage of the process.

Ireland holds the third-lowest percentage of land under organic farming in the EU. As proud representatives of our small county, the midlands, and Ireland as a whole, we're delighted to be competing on the international stage of the organic industry.

The EU Organic Awards, hosted by the European Commission, are a fantastic opportunity to recognize the hard work of exceptional organic producers from across Europe. Every year, producers and businesses compete in various categories, showcasing their innovations, sustainability practices, and overall contributions to the organic movement. We're excited to be among them, and can't wait to see what the future holds!
