Delivery

We aim to post all orders within one to two working days of receiving them unless there are exceptional circumstances.All deliveries are normally by An Post. Couriers will be used to ship exceptional deliveries. Any additional charges that may arise for customs clearance must be paid by you (the buyer). We reserve the right not to post items where we believe the address or method of payment is not secure or where there is a high risk of damage. Our prices are below but we reserve the right to charge extra for postage if circumstances demand:

  • Republic of Ireland €6

  • UK and Northern Ireland €8

  • The shipping cost for all other countries is calculated at checkout. Please email us if you have any questions or queries info@themerrymill.ie.

Returns policy

In the unlikely event that you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase from us, you can exchange your items for alternative products or receive a refund. Please note that your refund will include your initial postage costs but not the postage costs required for you to post the return back to us. To request a return or exchange, please email us at info@themerrymill.ie with your name and order information and then we will advise you about the next stage.

In accordance with current legislation, you have the right to cancel your order and sales contract with us within 14 calendar days, which starts from the day after you have received your items.  Your right to a refund for your purchases will expire after these 14 calendar days but you could be offered an exchange at our discretion. Please return your purchase no later than 14 days after you have cancelled your order.

Refunds will only be processed if the goods are unopened and in perfect condition for re-sale and  will be issued within 14 days of receiving the goods. We will send you an email to confirm that the refund has taken place and make the refund using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction unless you have expressly agreed otherwise.If you would like to exchange your items, we will refund or charge for any difference between the price of the goods purchased.In the unlikely event that you feel that the item you have received is faulty, please send the item back to us using this returns procedure. If we agree the item is faulty, we will provide you with a refund or exchange and a refund for all postage costs.We will not be responsible for items lost in the post when being returned. Therefore, we strongly recommend that all returns are sent via recorded delivery. Buyers are also responsible for any costs that occur when returning goods. If you made a mistake on your order or simply wish to cancel, your order may be cancelled at any time prior to the dispatch of your goods. Please email us as soon as possible to request the cancellation.
